Stamping Sunday: Nail-Venturous Lacquer Voodoo Doll

Nail-Venturous Lacquer Voodoo Doll

Hi everyone!  Our challenge this week for the stamping group was to do a non-stamping mani.  So, I wanted to show you this gorgeous polish which looks so awesome all on its own, no stamping required to spice up these nails!

This is part of an indie polish line made by one of my fellow bloggers, Amy from I'm Feeling Nail-Venturous.  You can buy her creations on Etsy as of now, if you're quick enough... Both times she has restocked her shop she has sold out in a matter of minutes.  I'm glad that I was lucky enough to swap her for a few polishes before she opened, thanks Amy!

Voodoo Doll is a polish that I knew would be unique in my collection right away.  I don't own any other black and white glitters, although there are a few out there.  I just love the way this looks.  It has a sheer black jelly base, and a great mix of different sizes of glitters.  I believe the micro-glitters that are in here are black and silver, but there may be some white ones as well.  Then you have different size hex glitters in black and white as well.

For my photos I did not use a base color, these are all 3 coats of Voodoo Doll and top coat.  I think next time I use this I will use a base, I liked how the glitters looked at 2 coats but my nail was still showing through.  However you wear this though, I would definitely recommend adding it to your collection!

  2. I was able to snag this one the last time her shop was open, I am SO excited to get this in the mail. It just looks absolutely stunning! Thanks for sharing a swatch, it only makes me more giddy that I was able to keep this one in my cart.
