New31DC: Day 20 - Texture
Hi there! Here we are on the 20th day of the New31DC! Today's challenge is to do some textured nails. I decided to try out the Spun Sugar technique with my favorite color combination.
To start off I painted all of my nails with one coat of MASH Nail Art Polish in Black. Next I made some puddles of my two colors on a piece of foil and let them thicken up. I might have made my puddles too big because it seemed to take forever to thicken enough to make strings. The colors I used are China Glaze Def Defying, and Illamasqua Jo'Mina. I did NOT add top coat when I was done, because I wanted to preserve the texture.
If you want to know how to do this, I would recommend watching this tutorial from XOXO Alexis Leigh.
Yum, candy nails!!
